Jackclee, the Maven site has virtually no
content of its own. What it does is host a collection of individual websites, totally unrelated to each other.
The owners of those websites have each been persuaded to transfer their site to a sub folder on the Maven site, (presumably by a very
clever salesman!).
I've bought from Proper Suit before. Had decent experiences
with Knot Standard, Tailor4Less, and Luxire too. I went with Tiberias Clothing
for this project as they had a really impressive stock of materials (Zegna, Scabal, Loro
Piana, Ariston, and VBC) and the price list was utterly [b][Censored][/b]ing astonishing for what they offered.
This line item filters down all the noise on the assets and liabilities column and tells you what the company really owns.
It also cuts out a great deal of the assets that can get
easily overvalued based on the sentiment in the market such as goodwill, patents etc.
It is not that I do not think these things are valuable, but they do have a
tendency to get bid up in good times and undervalued in bad times and could skew the view of the investment.
